Mead Valley, CA (July 14, 2023) On Thursday morning, a man was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash on Cajalco Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), that the fatal traffic accident happened around 5 a.m. on Cajalco Road, near Florence Street.
Reports say that the man was walking the roadway when a Toyota Tacoma pickup fatally struck the male pedestrian.
Riverside County Fire Department paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene. The male pedestrian was found lying in the middle of the roadway.
Meanwhile, authorities say that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
