Fairfield, CA (April 24, 2024) Early Tuesday morning, a tragic auto-pedestrian crash on Air Base Parkway claimed the life of a person.

According to Fairfield police, the hit-and-run crash happened on Air Base Parkway near Wylie Lane at about 1 a.m.

Reports say that a police officer discovered a person down on the shoulder of the road. Upon checking, the officer declared that the person was struck by a vehicle, but the vehicle fled the scene.
