Modesto Police Department spokeswoman Sharon Bear said 24-year-old Armana Slayyeh, of San Ramon, remains in critical condition, and it is unknown whether he will survive his injuries.
Inferring from a preliminary investigation, Slayyeh was driving a Honda Civic eastbound on Hatch Road around 2:45 a.m. when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the vehicle.
