Antwain Ramsey Sr Dies, Deville Daggs Arrested in Accident on Interstate 580
Oakland, CA (December 22, 2020) – On Monday, 30-year-old Deville Daggs of Oakland was arrested for a fatal vehicle crash westbound on Interstate 580.
The fatal crash happened at about 2 p.m. near 35th Avenue, wherein 52-year-old Antwain Ramsey Sr. died.
Apparently, Daggs was driving a black SUV that was in pursuit with the California Highway Patrol.
Even so, there is no detailed information that the CHP was chasing Daggs.
The CHP had previously ceased the chase, but Daggs crashed into a white minivan, killing him instantly.
The driver was later identified as Mr. Ramsey Senior.
Immediately, Daggs ran away on foot, but the authorities were able to arrest him right away.
Meanwhile, Daggs’ passenger sustained major injuries.
Moreover, as the CHP conducted their investigation, an unrelated DUI driver drove into the scene. The authorities arrested that driver.
