Antonio Prada Dies in Pedestrian Accident on Highway 62 Near Encelia Avenue

 
TWENTYNINE PALMS, CA (March 18, 2019) – A Tuesday morning pedestrian accident on Highway 62 near Encelia Avenue left a 62-year-old man dead.
 
Around 5:34 a.m., Antonio Prada died when a 2018 Chevrolet Impala sedan struck him. Prada, of Twentynine Palms, passed shortly after while the 35-year-old woman from Washington, D.C. driving the Chevy cooperated with officials.
 
Per reports, the driver hit Prada as he crossed northbound on the highway outside of a marked crosswalk.
 
Authorities are investigating the case to determine the ultimate cause and liabilities.
