Oxnard Resident Antonio Magallanes Injured in Marquita Street Collision [Oxnard, CA]

Oxnard, CA (April 13, 2024) – 50-year-old Antonio Magallanes of Oxnard was injured following a Marquita Street collision Thursday night.

The authorities responded at around 8:27 p.m. on April 11 to the motorcycle crash at the intersection with Third Street.

Responding officers located the motorcyclist, Magallanes, in the roadway with significant injuries. The medical team then rushed him to Ventura County Medical Center.

Troopers said Magallanes was westbound on Third Street when his motorcycle collided with the Honda at the intersection of Marquita Street.

The Oxnard Police Department officers said the driver of the Honda Accord that was involved in the accident, Jorge Cruz Bautista, stayed at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
