UKIAH, CA (July 16, 2023) – Friday morning, authorities arrested Antonio Amador following a DUI crash on Helen Avenue and Mendocino Drive.

The incident happened at around 2:00 a.m. at the intersection of Helen Avenue and Mendocino Drive.

According to the Ukiah Police Department, a vehicle struck two parked vehicles for still unknown reasons.

Moreover, responders transported a passenger of the vehicle to a trauma center with critical injuries.

Furthermore, officers arrested and booked the vehicle driver, 25-year-old Amador, on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI causing major injury.

At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
