Fatal Lower Lake Accident on Highway 29 Leaves Multiple People Injured
Lower Lake, CA (October 30, 2020) – On Thursday, Anthony Wolfsmith of Clearlake died, while Hidden Valley Lake resident Nicholas Hough and one other were injured in a crash on Highway 29.
The fatal accident took place before 5:30 p.m. at C Street near Lower Lake.
Upon arrival at the scene, firefighters and law enforcement officers found four vehicles involved in the incident.
The roadway was completely blocked as a result of the Lake County crash.
Further, the authorities confirmed one fatality, Mr. Wolfsmith, while four other people, including Nicholas Hough and Lloyd Hoisington, sustained injuries. Luckily, they managed to get out of the vehicles on their own.
Moreover, Caltrans responded to the scene and redirected the traffic around the crash site onto Spruce Grove Road North and Spruce Grove Road South.
Highway 29 was closed for an extended period of time Thursday night. It was reopened before 12 a.m. Friday.
