Anthony Wells Hit, Killed by Driver Near Palm Drive and Hacienda Avenue

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (January 14, 2019) – A 58-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle Friday evening near Hacienda Avenue and Palm Drive.
 
The pedestrian crash occurred around 9:15 p.m., according to Rob Roseen, a Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokesman. The victim died just before authorities were dispatched to the scene. He was identified as 58-year-old Anthony Wells.
 
There were no details regarding the events leading to the crash or the driver involved. More investigation is underway.
