Scott Page Arrested in Fatal Interstate 5 DUI Accident
Oroville, CA (April 13, 2021) – On Monday, a 51-year-old Angelena Huffman died, and police arrested 54-year-old Scott Page, also of Oroville, for a DUI crash on Interstate 5.
Apparently, Page was southbound on Interstate 5, south of Highway 119 when his 2004 Nissan Murano swerved into the center median.
He turned his car sharply back to the right, but he then lost control of the vehicle.
It crossed the southbound lanes and rolled on the west side of the 5 Freeway.
His front-seat passenger, an Oroville woman, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
Unfortunately, the female passenger, Ms. Huffman, was thrown from the vehicle, and killed as it overturned.
On the other hand, Page only suffered injuries in the accident, and was arrested at Kern Medical, where he was being treated.
Officers consider driving under the influence of drugs (DUI) as the cause of the crash.
