Multi-Vehicle DUI Wreck in Anaheim Leaves 4 Hospitalized
ANAHEIM, CA (January 21, 2019) – Four people were injured in a wrong-way multi-car accident on the 91 Freeway near the Gypsum Canyon Road exit Sunday morning.
Around 3:01 a.m., California Highway Patrol received a call about a car traveling in the wrong direction. The vehicle was said to be traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes near the Highway 241 toll road before it crashed into several other cars.
Four people were injured including two with major injuries. A man at the scene was arrested on suspicion of DUI after hitting another car that was stopped because of the crash.
The detailed and precise events of this crash are still under investigation. Anyone with additional knowledge is urged to contact the authorities.
