Trinidad, CA (January 5, 2024) On Wednesday morning, an ambulance responded to the Highway 101 vehicle crash after a sedan went off the highway.

According to the CHP, the traffic crash happened around 11:53 a.m. near Tom Creek east of Big Lagoon at mile marker 110.5.

Reports say that a sedan went off the highway and into the water near the creek. First responders say that both occupants of the sedan were safely rescued, although both people complained of pain.
