Amber Caldwell of Modesto Injured in Highway 49 DUI Crash [Tuolumne County, CA]

Tuolumne County, CA (April 17, 2024) – 21-year-old Amber Caldwell of Modesto sustained injuries following a Highway 49 DUI crash Friday night.

It was about 7 p.m. on April 12 when the motorcycle collision happened north of Highway 120.

CHP officers said 30-year-old Darrien Molvig of Riverbank was driving a 2021 Harley Davidson with Caldwell as his passenger. 

Molvig was driving at approximately 60 miles per hour when he made a turn and his Harley Davidson motorcycle overturned.

As a result, Molvig and Caldwell were thrown from the motorcycle and incurred moderate injuries. They were transported to Adventist Health Sonora for treatment.
