Wildomar Car Crash Kills Amanda Nelson, Injures 3 Others
WILDOMAR, CA (July 22, 2019) – Authorities identified the Murrieta woman killed in a car crash Thursday night in Wildomar.
According to police, 19-year-old Amanda Nelson of Murrieta died at the scene.
The two-car collision occurred at the intersection of Corydon Road and Cereal Street. After that, officials of the Riverside County Fire Department said a report about the incident came in at 6:10 p.m. In addition, the area is near the boundary between Wildomar and Lake Elsinore.
Details are not clear as to how or why the accident happened. However, Nelson died at the scene.
In addition, firefighters extracted one person who they then took to a hospital. However, police did not provide an update on the victim’s status. Two others people sustained moderate injuries according to fire officials.
In the meantime, the Riverside County sheriff’s deputies continue their investigation.
