1 Person Hurt in Santa Cruz Pedestrian Accident on Alarming Pedestrian Crash on Airport Boulevard
SANTA CRUZ, CA (December 5, 2023) – Sunday night, an alarming pedestrian crash on Airport Boulevard near Green Valley Road involved Alvaro Lealgomez.
The incident happened at around 10:40 p.m. on Airport Boulevard, west of Green Valley Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a gray Toyota Rav-4 struck a pedestrian who was crossing the roadway.
Moreover, responders transported the 34-year-old male pedestrian to Natividad Medical Center with major injuries.
Furthermore, officers identified the driver of the Toyota as 29-year-old Lealgomez from Watsonville. Also, authorities confirmed that the driver was not hurt in the incident.
At this time, the events leading to the crash remained unclear. When additional information becomes available, the public will be notified.
