5 People Hurt in Disastrous T-Bone Collision at Edge of Texas
El Paso, TX (January 11, 2024) On Tuesday, 20-year-old Aliyah Walker died after getting involved in a tragic 2-vehicle crash on Gateway North that also injured 5 people.
According to El Paso police, the disastrous collision happened around 5:41 p.m. on December 22, at the 13300 block Gateway North and 6700 Edge of Texas.
Reports say that an eastbound car, driven by Aliyah Chaya Walker, failed to stop at a stop sign and causing Walker’s car to enter teh path of a northbound SUV, resulting to a T-bone crash.
Officials say that Walker sustained serious injuries due to the collision and was transported to a local hospital, where, on January 9 she ultimately succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the SUV’s driver and occupants of the SUV, ranging from ages 10 and 27, suffered injuries and were all taken to teh hospital.
Authorities are investigating the fatal crash and says that the main factor for this fatal crash is disregarding a stop sign by Walker.
