1 Dead in Lake County Auto Accident on Highway 29 and Bar X Entrance Road

 
LAKE COUNTY, CA (April 12, 2022) – Friday night, Alisa Anne Pettey-Torres died in a head-on crash on Highway 29 in southern Lake County.
 
The crash happened at about 5:18 p.m. when Pettey-Torres drove south in a Toyota Corolla. Then, she drove across solid double lines and crashed head-on with a BMW X5, north of Bar X Entrance Road.
 
After the crash, responders extricated Alisa Anne Pettey-Torres from the Toyota. However, despite the life-saving measures, she succumbed to her injuries at the scene. Meanwhile, the BMW driver sustained moderate injuries.
 
At this time, the cause of the crash remains unknown. However, investigators ruled out drugs or alcohol as factors in the crash.
