Alfred Magrue Detained Following DUI Collision at East Kings Canyon Road and South Winery Avenue
FRESNO, CA (November 22, 2019)—A DUI driver fleeing from police crashed his car into a duplex at East Kings Canyon Road and South Winery Avenue Wednesday night.
According to officers, police tried pulling over 23-year-old Alfred Magrue at East Kings Canyon Road and South Winery Avenue; however, Margrue attempted a wide turn and crashed into a palm tree before striking a garage.
Fortunately, no one was inside the Fresno duplex at the time, but a vehicle inside the garage sustained damage.
Following the accident, police determined that Magrue was impaired and allegedly failed a sobriety test. Officers brought him to a local jail for questioning.
