Children Injured in Bexar County Fatal Crash
Bexar County, TX (December 21, 2024) – Alexia Rosales, a 22-year-old teacher, was killed in a collision at the Excelled Montessori Plus School Thursday afternoon.
The fatal traffic accident happened past 4:15 p.m. in the 27500 block of I-10 10 near Fair Oaks Ranch Parkway.
Troopers said the collision took place when parents were picking up their kids after a holiday performance.
After a parent loaded her kids into a vehicle, she accelerated into another vehicle, and both vehicles then rammed through a fence.
Alexia Rosales and the group of children were in a playground on the other side of the fence at that time. They were pinned under the car.
Sadly, Alexia Rosales died in the accident while five children were transported with unknown injuries.
Similarly, a 23-year-old woman was also transported to the hospital for treatment.
The medical team treated one adult and two children at the scene.
Troopers said the parent was not believed to be intoxicated at the time of the collision.
