Woman Dies in Pedestrian Accident, Alberto Vazquez Arrested on Bradshaw Road [Vineyard, CA]

Police Arrest 28-Year-Old Alberto Vazquez for DUI on Bradshaw Road Accident

 
Vineyard, CA (March 14, 2021) – On Friday, a 26-year-old female passenger died, and 28-year-old Alberto Vazquez was arrested for DUI on Bradshaw Road.
 
The incident took place before 11:30 p.m. near Carmencita Avenue.
 
Vazquez with his female passenger was heading back to Stockton after a night at the drive-in theater and alcohol consumption. Apparently, the two got into an argument.
 
Vazquez pulled over and the woman got out of the vehicle and ran while crossing the roadway.
 
The woman tripped and fell into the northbound lanes of Bradshaw Road and was struck by an oncoming vehicle traveling at around 45 miles per hour.
 
Unfortunately, the authorities declared the woman dead at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, the involved driver, a 20-year-old Sacramento man, was unable to avoid hitting the woman. He stayed on the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
 
Moreover, officers said there was no evidence of criminal activity on the woman’s death, though, police discovered the woman had a restraining order against Vazquez.
 
As a result, authorities booked Vazquez into the Sacramento County Main Jail on a DUI charge.
 
Police withheld the identity of the deceased.
