VALENCIA, CA (October 25, 2023) – Monday night, an alarming pedestrian crash on 28900 Mirada Circulo injured 1 person.

The incident happened at about 4:50 p.m. in the 28900 block of Mirada Circulo in Valencia. Apparently, a vehicle struck a child, said Deputy Kabrina Borbon, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

When responders arrived, they requested a helicopter. Then, an ambulance took the child to West Creek Park to the awaiting helicopter.

Responders took the child to a specialty hospital by helicopter, revealed Geovanni Sanchez, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
