Injuries Reported in San Mateo Vehicle Crash on Highway 1 and Medio Avenue
SAN MATEO, CA (June 4, 2023) – Saturday morning, an alarming auto accident on Highway 1 and Medio Avenue injured 2 people.
The incident occurred at 9:02 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 1 and Medio Avenue in El Granada.
“Two cars got into a crash on Highway 1 and one of them went through a fence and yard and hit a house at Third and Medio,” Cecile Juliette of Cal Fire San Mateo-Santa Cruz said.
After the crash, responders took two occupants of the car to the hospital. One of them sustained major injuries and the other suffered moderate injuries.
At this time, the circumstances that led to the crash remained unclear. Once additional details become available, the public will be notified.
