San Marcos, CA (July 17, 2022) On Saturday afternoon, an aircraft hits a dark Lexus RX 350 on Meadowlark Ranch resulting in injuries.

Reports say that the plane-Lexus crash happened at about 6:15 p.m. near South Rancho Santa Fe Road and Melrose Drive.

Afterward, the SMFD updated their tweet about the location. The fire department provided the exact location of Meadowlark Ranch and Boulderidge Drive.

The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department (SDCSD) and San Marcos Fire Department (SMFD) responded to the scene.

Authorities say that the pilot of a small plane made an emergency landing at the crossing. The plane struck the Lexus during the landing.

The plane had one occupant, while the Lexus had 2 people, with 1 being a pregnant woman.
