Adam Berryhill Crashes Into Motorcyclist on Turlock Road Near Looney Road
MODESTO, CA (April 24, 2019) – A motorcyclist died Sunday afternoon following a crash with a big rig on Turlock Road near Looney Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 42-year-old in a 2009 Harley-Davidson was heading east on Turlock Road.
For unknown reasons, he allowed his motorcycle to drift into the westbound lanes and collide with a 2012 Volvo semi-truck.
Both vehicles collided in the westbound lane around 2:14 p.m., say CHP, killing the motorcyclist at the scene.
Adam Berryhill of Hilmar – the 38-year-old driver of the semi-truck – was not impaired at the time. However, authorities plan to investigate this deadly case further.
The victim’s identity will be released once the next of kin has been notified. At this time, investigators are urging witnesses with insight into this accident to call them.
