1 Hospitalized after Brentwood Pedestrian Collision on Foothill Road
BRENTWOOD, CA (December 18, 2019) – An 80-year-old woman was airlifted after a pedestrian accident on Foothill Road.
The incident happened on Foothill Road and St. Andrews Drive on December 16, shortly after 5:30 p.m. A 42-year-old Brentwood resident turning left struck and injured the woman in a crosswalk. The crash closed the entrance into Deer Ridge from Balfour Road for multiple hours during the investigation.
Responders airlifted the moderately injured pedestrian. Meanwhile, the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Authorities also ruled out drugs and alcohol as a factor in the collision/
