73-Year-Old Edgar Hatchel Fatally Hit on Erskine Street [Lubbock, TX]

Lubbock, TX (July 19, 2024) – 73-year-old Edgar Hatchel was killed in an Erskine Street pedestrian accident Thursday night.

It was before 10 p.m. when the fatal accident happened on N Englewood Avenue.

Investigators said Hatchel was attempting to cross from the south side of Erskine Street a passenger vehicle driven by 30-year-old James Woodruff struck him.

Edgar Hatchel was declared deceased at the scene.

No other injuries were reported in this fatal accident.
