70-Year-Old Man Dies in Yorktown Avenue Hit-and-Run Crash [Huntington Beach, CA]

Huntington Beach, CA (April 15, 2022) – On Thursday, a 70-year-old man sustained fatal injuries in a Yorktown Avenue hit-and-run crash.

The fatal collision happened at about 4:58 p.m. on the corner of Newland Street. 

Reports say the driver of an eastbound grey vehicle on the left lane struck the victim and drove away, leaving the victim in the street. 

Right away, the paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital where he later died. 

“The grey vehicle struck the male crossing northbound on Yorktown Avenue outside of an intersection or marked crosswalk,” says an officer.

The authorities are searching for the sedan involved in this collision.
