Fremont, CA (May 21, 2022) On Friday afternoon, a 7-year-old boy riding a bicycle died in a vehicle collision on Montrose Avenue.
Fremont police say that the fatal collision happened at around 3:45 p.m.
Moreover, reports say that the boy was with his grandfather at the time of the crash.
Paramedics transported the child to a hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police say that the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Authorities are investigating the incident and have not released additional information at this time.
