OCEANSIDE, CA (March 3, 2022) – Tuesday morning, a 68-year-old man sustained injuries after a suspected DUI crash on Tyson Street.
 
According to police spokesperson Jennifer Atenza, the incident happened at around 10:00 a.m. on Tyson Street.
 
Reports revealed that a truck struck a male pedestrian then drove over boulders along the street.
 
Then, responders transported the 68-year-old pedestrian to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Furthermore, officials arrested and booked the truck driver into Vista jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. Also, they released a passenger of the truck at the scene.
 
Meanwhile, a section of the street shut down but has long since reopened.
