6 People Hurt in DUI Solo-Car Collision in Fresno
FRESNO, CA (June 17, 2019) – A DUI accident on Manning Avenue near South Marks Avenue left six people, including a child, injured.
According to news reports, a 1-year-old child along with five others was taken to CRMC with moderate injuries.
California Highway Patrol officers say a man in his 40s somehow lost control of the SUV on Manning Avenue and crashed into a power pole.
Investigators said the driver showed signs of impairment possibly from a narcotic. Officers plan to book him into the Fresno County jail once he is medically released from Selma Medical.
The 9 p.m. accident also left hundreds of people without power due to the incident.
