3 People Hospitalized in Truck-Patrol Car Crash on Thomas Road
Phoenix, AZ (November 26, 2022) On Friday afternoon, a multi-vehicle collision on 51st Avenue injured 3 people including 2 police officers.
Phoenix police says that 2 vehicles collided with a patrol car at the intersection with Thomas Road around 4:30 p.m.
Officials say that the 2 vehicles were speeding on the road. Paramedics transported an adult driver and 2 officers to the hospital. Meanwhile, the other driver stayed with officers, authorities say that that the 2nd driver is a minor.
Authorities closed 51st Avenue from Thomas Road south to Virginia Avenue as detectives investigates the multi-vehicle collision.
