5-Year-Old Injured in Vehicle Collision on Highway 101 [Humboldt, CA]

Humboldt, CA (December 12, 2023) – A 5-year-old sustained injuries following a vehicle collision on Highway 101 yesterday morning.

It was about 8 a.m. when the collision between a white Subaru SUV and a red pickup happened near the freeway’s exit for Cal Poly Humboldt.

Sadly, the child incurred head injury.

Traffic was backed up to the Highway 299 intersection.

Officers are investigating the cause of the collision.
