Robert Verner Jr Killed in Barstow Two-Vehicle Crash

Barstow, CA (October 17, 2021) – On October 09, 48-year-old Robert Verner Jr, a transient from the Barstow area, dies in a two-vehicle crash on West Main Street.

The fatal crash took place at approximately 6:21 p.m.

Investigating officers said Verner Jr was driving approaching State Route 58. Suddenly, his vehicle crashed with a Dodge Caravan

Unfortunately, he died at the accident scene.

The Barstow Police Department continues to investigate the fatal crash.
