46-Year-Old Man Dies in Rear-End Crash on Highway 195 [Killeen, TX]

Killeen, TX (May 19, 2023) – On Thursday, a 46-year-old man lost his life following a rear-end crash on Highway 195.

The authorities responded to the crash scene at about 8:14 a.m. in the area of Chaparral Road wherein silver a car and a pickup truck were involved.

Investigating officers said a four-door silver Toyota car was stopped for the red light in the inside northbound lane of the freeway. At the same time, a white Chevy pickup truck with a trailer was northbound in the inside lane. The Chevy rear-ended the Toyota.

Immediately, the paramedics rushed the Toyota driver to AdventHealth Central Texas in critical condition. The Chevy driver, on the other hand, was transported to Seton Medical Center Harker Heights with minor injuries.

Unfortunately, the Toyota driver succumbed to his injuries and was declared dead at the hospital. The authorities withheld the deceased’s name pending notification of kin.
