4 Hurt in DUI Collision Involving Hit-and-Run Driver in SeaTac
SEATAC, WA (May 30, 2019) – Four people suffered severe injuries Sunday morning following a DUI hit-and-run collision on International Boulevard South near South 208th Street.
According to reports, deputies responded to the 20700 block of International Boulevard South around 10:15 a.m. Arriving crews found two women and two men in the wreckage. The light-blue colored SUV in which they occupied crashed into a utility pole, it appeared.
Of the four, two women and a man suffered critical injuries while the fourth sustained serious injuries.
Shortly after, medics brought all four to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment.
In the investigation, authorities learned that another man was also involved in the crash but had fled the scene on foot. Detectives are currently investigating the driver’s whereabouts and the sequence of events that unfolded.
