According to news reports, the 7:38 p.m. accident, which occurred on a curve, involved a white 2010 Kia Rio and a gray Jeep Patriot. When firefighters from the Victorville City fire responded to the incident, officials requested three ground ambulances and one air ambulance.
Among the four patients, a 42-year-old man suffered a leg injury while three others sustained less critical injuries. Paramedics airlifted the 42-year-old to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and the rest to St. Mary’s Medical Center.
In their investigation, authorities determined that either alcohol or drugs played a role in the collision; however, further investigation continues.
