Several Injured in Two-Vehicle Accident in Santa Paula
SANTA PAULA, CA (June 3, 2019) – A serious two-vehicle accident on Highway 126 near Pyle Road left four people injured Saturday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 10:13 a.m. accident happened near Fillmore.
Crews arrived soon after and learned that four people were injured in the crash, one of whom suffered major injuries. Firefighters had to use heavy equipment to extricate one person from the twisted wreckage.
CHP officer subsequently shut down both eastbound and westbound lanes of traffic as officials investigated the area and cleaned the scene.
It’s unclear at this point what caused the two vehicles to crash but an ongoing investigation is underway.
