Subaru Driver Dies, Jose Gonzales Injured in Tulare County Head-On Crash
Fresno, CA (November 20, 2020) – On Friday, a 20-year-old man died, and 33-year-old Jose Gonzales was injured in a head-on crash on Highway 137.
The deadly accident happened at about 2:15 a.m. near Road 24 in Tulare County.
Authorities said a GMC Sierra and a Subaru BRZ crashed for an unknown reason.
Police pronounced the 20-year-old Subaru driver dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
Meanwhile, Gonzales, the GMC driver, sustained major injuries.
Rescuers then rushed him to Kaweah Delta Medical Center.
Further, CHP said the Fresno crash is still under investigation. Authorities do not believe drugs or alcohol were factors.
