Hit-and-Run Crash on Hammer Lane Killed One Pedestrian
Stockton, CA (December 18, 2020) – On Wednesday, a 32-year-old man died in a hit-and-run crash on Hammer Lane and Tam O’Shanter Drive.
Authorities responded to the scene at about 6:40 p.m. wherein a pedestrian was involved in a crash.
When they arrived, they located the victim in the eastbound lanes of Hammer Lane who was struck by a vehicle.
Police said the involved vehicle was traveling on Hammer Lane. It had a green light when the incident happened.
Also, Stockton Police Department said the involved driver immediately fled after the crash.
Responders rushed the victim to the hospital where he later died.
Authorities withheld the identity of the deceased.
