Injuries Reported in Montebello Bus Accident on Whittier Boulevard and Vail Avenue

 
MONTEBELLO, CA (May 9, 2021) – Saturday, three people suffered injuries in a crash on Whittier Boulevard and Vail Avenue.
 
City of Montebello spokesman Michael Chee revealed that the incident happened at about 8:00 a.m. Moreover, the crash involving a stolen car and a Montebello bus happened on Whittier Boulevard and Vail Avenue.
 
The male driver of the stolen vehicle tried to escape the scene. However, the Montebello Police Officers immediately apprehended him.
 
As a result, responders transported the three bus passengers to Beverly Hospital for minor injures.
 
Meanwhile, responders also took the driver of the stolen vehicle to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
According to spokesman Chee, the suspect had an outstanding warrant for grand theft auto. The suspect will probably be charged with the theft of the latest vehicle as well as fleeing the scene of the crash.
