3 Hurt Following DUI Pedestrian Accident in Seattle
SEATTLE, WA (May 7, 2019) – A DUI driver struck three pedestrians Saturday evening on Queen Anne Avenue North near West Galer Street.
The three pedestrians, including a child, sought treatment at Harborview Medical Center following the 6:30 p.m. accident.
According to witnesses, a driver pulled out of a driveway and struck several cars. Subsequently, the vehicle drove onto a sidewalk and struck a male adult, a female adult and a young child.
An investigation team evaluated the driver’s condition and arrested him shortly thereafter. Officers booked him into jail for a felony DUI.
As far as the three pedestrians go, reports did not release their names or residences. However, officials are continuing their investigation.
