Woman, Men Injured in Apple Valley Accident
APPLE VALLEY, CA (March 26, 2019) – Paramedics brought three people to nearby hospitals Monday following a motorcycle and ATC crash on Caribou Avenue near Wren Street.
Around 12:35 a.m., deputies responded to a call regarding a motorcycle and ATC collision. At the scene, officials found two males and one female with serious injuries.
Shortly after, firefighters requested two medical helicopters for two critically injured patients. Paramedics brought the other patient to a trauma center by ground ambulance.
According to Sergeant Matthew D. Griffith, one victim riding a motorcycle next to an ATC, occupied by the two other subjects, sideswiped one another and lost control. The impact caused the ATC to flip over and eject both its occupants. Neither of the subjects bore a helmet at the time.
Investigators are seeking to learn the ultimate cause of the accident.
