1 Dead in Spring Valley Pedestrian Accident on State Route 94 and Spring Street
SPRING VALLEY, CA (July 19, 2022) – Sunday morning, a 28-year-old pedestrian died in a crash on State Route 94 and Spring Street.
The incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. on State Route 94 and Spring Street.
According to reports, a two-vehicle crash that damaged property involved a 28-year-old San Diego resident. Then, that person exited the vehicle and stood in the freeway’s No. 1 lane. However, a 27-year-old Spring Valley man driving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra hit the San Diego resident.
As a result, responders declared the pedestrian dead at the scene. His identity remained undisclosed due to pending family notification.
Meanwhile, authorities arrested the Hyundai driver on suspicion of DUI. His identity remains undisclosed as of this time.
