Dodge Pickup Truck Driver Dies in Semi-Truck Crash on Interstate 10

 
North Bend, WA (January 14, 2021) – On Wednesday, a 26-year-old Dodge pickup truck driver died in a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 10.
 
The fatal accident took place at about 9:30 P.M.
 
The Dodge driver was driving his pickup truck west in the eastbound lanes of the highway.
 
A semi-truck driver in the middle of three lanes saw the oncoming vehicle and drifted to the right to avoid the accident. However, the pickup trcuck still struck the second trailer of the semi.
 
Afterward, it veered into the left lane where it crashed head-on with another vehicle.
 
Unfortunately, the Dodge driver died at the scene.
 
On the other hand, the rescuers took the 59-year-old driver of the car he smashed with to a Bellevue hospital. Though, there is no update on his condition.
 
The semi-truck driver did not sustain injuries from the incident.
 
Investigators are investigating why the driver was driving the wrong way.
