Driver Dies, Passenger Hurt in Car Accident on Friars Road
San Diego, CA (November 1, 2020) – On Friday, a 22-year-old man died, while his wife was injured in a vehicle crash on Friars Road.
The fatal crash happened at about 5 p.m. near the Fashion Valley Mall.
The victim was driving a 2014 Chevy Malibu and turned left onto Friars Road from his apartment complex. Just then, a 33-year-old woman driving a 2020 Tesla Model Y crashed into his vehicle.
The man incurred fatal injuries, while his passenger, his 22-year-old wife, sustained minor injuries.
Meanwhile, no other injuries were reported. The authorities did not disclose the deceased’s identity.
