21-Year-Old San Jacinto Man Dies in Ramona Expressway Head-On Crash [Lakeview, CA]

Lakewood, CA (March 18, 2022) – On Thursday, a 21-year-old San Jacinto man lost his life in a Ramona Expressway head-on crash.

The fatal crash happened at around 5:40 a.m. on the freeway’s westbound lanes.

Officers said that the 21-year-old was driving a westbound Hyundai Sonata when the vehicle swerved into oncoming traffic, 

As a result, the Sonata crashed head-on with an Isuzu box van driven by a 34-year-old Los Angeles man.

Unfortunately, the Sonata driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene. 

On the other hand, the van driver was rushed to a hospital with minor injuries.

Officers said that the incident left vehicles with major damage.

Moreover, officers do not believe alcohol as a factor in this crash. 

The authorities are investigating this incident.
