Interstate 82 Crash Kills One
Granger, WA (November 26, 2021) – On Wednesday, at about 6:18 a.m., a 21-year-old man lost his life in an Interstate 82 crash.
Reports said a pickup truck lost control on the icy overpass eastbound on the freeway. It collided into the barrier and the drivers behind it rear-end each other’s vehicle.
Meanwhile, the 21-year-old man got out and was struck by his own car when someone rear-ended him.
Right away, the paramedics began first aid, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
“We’re still trying to piece together exactly where in the collision his vehicle came into play,” WSP Trooper David Munoz said. “We do know though that he was outside of his vehicle when his vehicle was struck and then struck him.”
The authorities consider the icy road conditions on the overpass to have contributed to the accident. He said they do not suspect any drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash.
Munoz said they’re still investigating the cause of the crash.
