1 Detained after Lacey Car Accident
LACEY, WA (December 18, 2018) – A 21-year-old man was in custody on suspicion of DUI, hit-and-run and simple assault after crashing his car into a building on December 16.
The incident occurred about 7:30 p.m. at 4227 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey police revealed. The suspect’s Nissan and a Volvo were traveing east on Pacific Avenue when the man reportedly collided into the Volvo and then the building, Lacey Commander Joe Upton revealed.
After the collision, the suspect went off his car and escaped. However, he was tracked by the Volvo driver.
According to reports, the Volvo had three occupants while the Nissan had a passenger.
