2-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 15 Injures 2 Women [San Diego, CA]

San Diego, CA (June 29, 2023) On Thursday morning, a 2-vehicle collision on Interstate 15 sent 2 women to the hospital.

According to the San Diego Police Department (SDPD), the traffic crash happened at about 8 a.m. near 14900 Camino del Norte.

Reports say that a 39-year-old woman on a northbound 2005 Toyota Corolla exiting Camino del Norte. Authorities say that the Toyota failed to stop at the red traffic signal, when an eastbound BMW X3, driven by a 57-year-old woman, collided with the Toyota.

Officials say that both female drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

SDPD is investigating the traffic crash in Rancho Bernardo and has not released additional information at this time.
