2 Female Pedestrians Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Sacramento
SACRAMENTO, CA (April 18, 2019) – Two 16-year-olds suffered serious injuries Wednesday night in a hit-and-run pedestrian crash on John Still Drive near Manorside Drive.
At approximately 8:30 p.m., the Sacramento Police Department reported a pedestrian accident involving two teens near John H Still Middle School.
The teens, believed to be 16 years old, suffered serious injuries in the crash. Paramedics arrived shortly after and transported both victims to local hospitals.
In the investigation, authorities determined that an eastbound vehicle struck the pair as they crossed north on John Still Drive.
However, instead of rendering aid, the driver of the vehicle fled eastbound. Inferring from evidence at the scene, the model may be a Nissan.
Now, Sacramento police officers are urging witnesses to call dispatch at 916-808-5471 if they have any information to add.
